State Police detectives are investigating a home invasion that occurred at a residence during the early morning hours on Saturday, Sept. 4 in Tolland County, in the Town of Ellington.
Preliminary reports indicate a firearm was displayed and money and jewelry were taken from the residence, according to Connecticut State Police.
No injuries occurred and this is believed to be an isolated incident, state police said.
The investigation is active and anyone with information is asked to contact Detective Hickey at Troop C, at 860-896-3230.
